They currently operate over 160 international routes, connecting 28 countries with 12 Greek airports.

Why fly with Aegean Airlines

How to Check In

Online and mobile check-in both open 48 hours before departure, and close 30 minutes before departure. You can check in via mobile on Aegean’s mobile site, mobile.aegeanair.com, and will be sent a QR code to show at the boarding gate and security checkpoint. You can also check-in at the automated kiosks, between 24 hours and 30 minutes before departure. You can also check-in the old fashioned way, at the Aegean Airlines desk.

Baggage Allowance and Fees

Baggage allowance is based on route and class of travel. GoLight fares: If you book online, each piece of baggage costs £12 for flights within Greece, £16 for short-haul flights, and £25 for long-haul. If you book your baggage in at the airport these fees rise to £20 for domestic, £28 for short-haul, and £36 for long-haul. Flex fares: The first bag is free of charge, but fees apply for additional baggage. These fees are the same as GoLight baggage fares. Business Fares: The first two bags are free of charge, but fees apply for additional baggage. Again, charges are the same as GoLight.

Seating – Leg Room, Choosing Seats

Aegean Airlines offer a very generous seat pitch of 32” in economy, and 33” in business class. Plenty of room to stretch out.

Booking Fees

Credit card bookings from the UK are subject to a credit card fee of £7 per passenger.

Meals, Snacks, Drinks

Complimentary meals are provided on International flights. The menu is inspired by Greek cuisine, featuring dishes created by renowned chef Nikos Sarantos. Business class passengers have a choice of two hot meals, and are also served a cold meal on domestic flights.

On-Time Punctuality

Aegean Airlines have won awards for their punctuality, with 93% of their flights arriving and departing exactly on schedule.
