Bringing intrepid travellers to and from Iceland is just one of Icelandair’s strategies. The airline also makes the most of Iceland’s enviable position between Northern Europe and the East Coast of the USA, offering one-stop transatlantic flights.
The majority of IcelandAir’s fleet is equipped with high speed Wi-Fi, so you can browse while you fly. You might also get a sneak peek at some new music, too. Icelandic band Sigur Ros debuted their 2013 album Valtari on IcelandAir planes two months before general release, and Bjork did the same thing back in 2011 with her album Biophilia.
