Cheap Flights from Louisville Standiford Field - Find airline tickets from Louisville Standiford Field with Skyscanner

Baseball owes a big debt to Louisville: this is the home of the most famous bat, the Louisville Slugger. That might be the city’s biggest claim to fame if Louisville wasn’t also the location of the Kentucky Derby and the birthplace of Muhammad Ali. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s still a lot more to enjoy in Louisville: a pretty riverfront, tasty mint juleps, fine shopping, good museums, and more than its fair share of graciously restored Victorian homes.

Flights from Louisville

Louisville International Airport (SDF) was previously known as Standiford Field. Today, it is a joint commercial and military airport that serves more than 3.2 million passengers annually. Southwest offers seven routes here and is often a good choice for those seeking cheap flights from Louisville. The airport is also served by American Airlines, American Eagle, Delta, United, and US Airways.

SDF is a small and manageable airport which is quick and easy to navigate. The single terminal is made up of two concourses, A and B. Ground transportation between Louisville and the airport is probably easiest by rental car, but there are TARC buses available into the city center, as well as taxis, limos, and courtesy shuttles from the hotels.
