Jeju Air flights & tickets

Jeju Air is a South Korea-based regional commercial carrier that offers flights within South Korea and other destinations in Southeast Asia. Jeju Airlines started in 2005 and operates on a low-cost model similar to Southwest Airlines or JetBlue Airways. It is named after its home base of Jeju City.
Jeju Airlines is mainly a regional carrier, which means it has several destinations within its home country, though it does reach several international destinations in Southeast Asia as well. Overall, Jeju Airlines serves 30 destinations in and around the Korean Peninsula.
The major destinations for Jeju Air include Seoul, Beijing, Hong Kong, Macau, Osaka, Tokyo, Taipei, Phnom Penh, Bangkok, Manila, Hanoi, Saipan and Guam. Jeju Airlines is still a growing airline, as the company says it has 25 planes in its fleet currently and is looking to add five to six planes per year until it reaches 40 planes by the end of 2018. All of Jeju Airlines aircraft are Boeing 737-800s, which hold about 185-190 passengers each.

Why Fly With Jeju Air

Baggage Allowance

To have a carry-on bag in the cabin of a Jeju Airline craft, the item must weigh less than 22 pounds and have a linear size of no more than 45 inches. Any additional bags may be checked at the gate for a fee roughly equivalent to US$20. Checked baggage allowance or a Jeju Airlines flight is generally one bag with linear size of less than 80 inches and a weight of less than 70 pounds. If flying to or from a U.S. Territory (Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands or Guam), passengers are allowed two checked bags free of charge with a linear size of 108 inches and a weight of 50 pounds each.

In Flight Entertainment

Jeju Airlines makes a real step toward being entertaining during its flights by introducing a variety of what it calls “Fun Teams.” Depending on your flight and destination, Jeju Air features teams of people to provide a variety of entertainment options - from face-painting and caricatures, to balloons, to a “tour” of the night sky out the windows of the plane, to a magic show or a musical band, Jeju Air is determined to make your flight enjoyable and memorable.

Food, Snacks, and Drinks

On domestic routes, Jeju Air offers a Air Cafe feature with light snacks and beverages. Due to U.S. inspection protocol, flights to or from Guam or Saipan will have different offerings. You are asked to check Air Cafe’s PDF file menu before your flight to determine your options.
