Boliviana de Aviacion flights & tickets

On its lightning fast climb to the top of the Bolivian airline industry in the last decade, Boliviana de Aviacion not only knocked a few of its competitors out of the air, so to speak--it also became the most popular airline in the country after just a few short years in operation, and is widely considered by many as the best airline service in Bolivia. In its short trajectory as a fully-functioning airline, the company has also completely replaced now-defunct airline companies Lloyd Aereo Boliviano Airline and AeroSur as the country’s national flagship carrier.

The growth of BoA, (Boliviana de Aviacion) is nothing short of astonishing upon first glance, especially given the young age of the airline. Its success, however, is easily explained by its complete ownership by the Bolivian government, whose efforts to help the airline succeed have been nothing short of impressive. The government has made the upkeep and promotion of the airline one of its top priorities through its recent massive expansion and makeover. In addition to a plethora of new national and international routes, Boliviana Aviacion, which started out with just two aircrafts in 2007, currently counts 15 aircrafts in operation at the moment (2016) with plans to increase its fleet next year.
