How to Check In, Seat Assignment, and Leg Room

Singapore Airlines offers customers a number of different ways to check in before their flight. At the airport, you can check in at the airline counter from 48 hours to 40 minutes before departure. Be sure to have all necessary documents before you arrive, including a valid passport and/or visa if required. You could also choose to check in on your own at an airport kiosk. The kiosks allow customers to check in, scan all required documents, confirm seating, and print bag tags and boarding passes.

The airline also offers online and mobile check-in from 48 hours to 1.5 hours before your flight. In some cities, you can even print your boarding pass or download it to a mobile device before arriving at the airport. If you don't have any bags to check when you arrive, simply head straight to the immigration counter.

When you make your Singapore Airlines reservation, you can choose a specific seat. You can change your selection anytime from booking until check-in. Seats are not guaranteed, but the airline strives to ensure passengers get the seats they choose. When booking, you can choose Preferred Economy Class for more leg room.
