By rental car, taxi, private car service, or hotel shuttle, Port Arthur and Beaumont are both fewer than ten miles from the airport and the trip typically takes less than 20 minutes via the local highway system. There are also private charter flights via plane and helicopter available from the airport.

The airport covers nearly 1,800 acre and has two runways for commercial and general aviation purposes. BPT is a great option for travel to the region as Houston is a three to four hour drive away. Parking right at the terminal is free seven days a week.
