About Aguadilla Airport
Officially named for the Puerto Rican composer, Rafael Hernandez, Aguadilla Airport is located in the Porta del Sol region on this US territory's west coast, about three miles from downtown Aguadilla. Aside from its function as a passenger airfield, Aguadilla Airport also serves as the Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen. The terminal's north side is a passenger terminal that can handle international flights of more than 200 passengers. This terminal has one gate for arrivals and one for departures.

There are a few airlines that fly to Aguadilla. Spirit Airlines has non-stop flights from Ft. Lauderdale to Aguadilla at least three times per week. From New York or Orlando, you can take a direct flight to Aguadilla on JetBlue or United Airlines.

Taxi and shuttle booths are located outside the Terminal A at the Arrival Level or at Terminal B outside baggage claim areas. Mayaguez Airport and Aguadilla
Mayaguez Airport (MAZ) is small, with air services to and from San Juan Airport on jetBlue and United Airlines flights. You can take a flight from San Juan Airport to Mayaguez. From Mayaguez it is only 18 miles to Aguadilla if you drive or hire a taxi. The trip should take a little over 30 minutes to complete.
