In other words, we’re a travel comparison website. We think this makes booking your flights, hotels, and car rentals easier because it helps you find the best deals for your trip.

We operate according to a strong set of values

We believe in giving you all the choices and helping you make informed decisions. We don’t reorder results, have hidden fees, or charge commission. Skyscanner does use cookies to deliver our services, but we do not use them to raise prices or manipulate demand — so no need to use incognito mode to find those great deals.

As a company, we are committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2045 and shaping a more responsible future for travel through corporate initiatives like investing in sustainable aviation fuel and carbon credits. We also offer practical tools for users, such as displaying lower-emissions flight data powered by the Travalyst coalition and integrating rail options in search results when possible.

We do not make money from travelers

Skyscanner puts you first. We make money through a combination of advertising and commission from our partners (airlines, travel agents, hotels, car rental companies, and online travel agencies). We’re completely free to use, unbiased, and never have hidden fees. You’ll find the same price on our website as you will directly on the airline, hotel, or car rental website. Sometimes we even have extra deals for those users who are logged in. 😉

We’ve got some smart engineers working behind the scenes to bring you features that travelers love and make it easy to use Skyscanner to compare flights, like Everywhere search, Price Alerts, Best Time to Book, Multi-city search, and much more.
