Cheap Flights from Arizona

Arizona’s desert beauty may get a bit tiring after a while, which is why we’ve compiled a bunch of ideas about cheap flights from Arizona here at Skyscanner. When you’re flying from Arizona, your selection of flights will vary drastically depending on which airport you choose. Phoenix Sky Harbor is the airport which offers the most destinations, including international destinations.

The Tucson and Yuma Airports are more suitable for direct regional flights, though they may be a bit more expensive because they aren’t as busy. Set up a cheap flight alert using our system and you’ll know which airport to depart from when it comes time to book your ticket. Remember that you’ll need your US driver’s license to board any domestic flight while you’re packing for your trip out of Arizona.

Where Should I Go?

You can visit many places when you fly from Arizona; if you like international travel, check out Mexico City or Brasilia, two South American cities renowned for their cultural capital, cheap vacations, and radically different experience from what you’ll find from day to day in Arizona. These cities aren’t as safe as what you’d find in cities of similar size in the US, but they’re still popular vacation destinations because of how much history, art, and culture that they provide.

Mexico itself is one of the most common destinations for fliers out of Arizona in part because of its status as a gateway to the rest of Latin America, but also due to its potential for many different types of vacation. Be sure to bring your passport to the airport if you decide to travel internationally from Arizona.

If you’d prefer a quieter destination that’s still in the US, check out flights to the Pacific Northwest. The Pacific Northwest is accessible via direct flights out of Arizona and tends to be slightly more expensive.  Areas like Seattle and Portland have many cultural opportunities but also offer access to excellent hiking and nature walks if you’re willing to leave the city. Be sure to bring a raincoat if you head to Seattle, however.

If you’d prefer to hit the East Coast, you can find flights to New York City departing from Phoenix Sky Harbor, though they may not be direct flights. New York City has practically everything under the sun, except abundant greenery, but tends to be very expensive relative to the other destinations mentioned so far.

Finding A Good Deal For Your Flight

Check out on our map to see where you can fly from Arizona, then decide based off which areas fit your criteria. Flights to other regions in the Southwest will sometimes be cheaper than flights to the Midwest, West Coast, or East Coast, though it depends largely on which airport you fly from and the frequency of the route.

No matter where you go, Skyscanner can help you book your hotel or find a rental car, so don’t be afraid to take a chance on a new destination if you find a cheap flight.
