Using the Tram
If you’re trying to get to your flight in Concourse A at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport, keep in mind that the length of the concourse is nearly a mile long. If you’re in a hurry, or prefer not to walk the considerable distance, make sure to take the ExpressTram. The Tram covers the length of the concourse in just 3 minutes, including wait time before boarding. Passengers can exit onto one of the tram’s three stations:
Terminal Station: Access to gates A29-A55, Baggage Claim, Ground transportation, and tunnel access to Concourses B and C.

The 700 ft tunnel features amazing glass panels and sand-blasted artwork, and is one of the largest color-changing, LED light displays in the country.
