Located near Pocatello, this regional airport serves southeastern Idaho and is conveniently close to Idaho State University. At present it is primarily used for general aviation, with the only commercial flight being a connector for Delta to Salt Lake City.

Cheap Flights From PIH

You can use the Month Search feature to see if flights out of Pocatello are going to be offering better fares in the coming days and weeks.

With only one option at the moment, Pocatello isn't the best place for deal shopping. Travelers would be better served by looking at direct deals out of Salt Lake City, which is about 165 miles away. Most of the major carriers fly out of Salt Lake and there are a very wide range of both domestic and international destinations available. In addition to the Delta Connector flight, Salt Lake Express offers daily bus service between Pocatello and Salt Lake City International Airport and allows passengers to bring two suitcases and a carry-on as part of their fare (extra luggage may be accepted on a space-available basis with an extra fee).

Greyhound also has daily bus service between Pocatello and their station in Salt Lake City. The Salt Lake Greyhound station is adjacent to the city's light rail system, which can take you directly to the airport.

Features of PIH for Outbound Passengers

Since it has very little commercial traffic, Pocatello Regional also has a limited range of services, but it also has some unique offerings. There is a snack bar and gift shop, though it is only open Monday through Friday. A variety of vending machines are available in the terminal, however, and one nice perk that passengers receive here is a free cup of coffee when the gift shop is open (served in a cup that can be brought on the flight). Free WiFi is also available throughout the terminal. There is also one furnished conference room for business travelers that can be booked. The airport also features a rotating display of photography by regional artists as well as a Japanese garden just outside the terminal. There is also a mini-library that operates on the "take a book, leave a book" system and is filled out by donations from the Marshall Public Library.
