Teniente Rodolfo Marsh Martin Base Airport is located in Isla Rey Jorge and is the most northern airport in Antarctica. There are some excursions for tourists to the South Pole, but these tours are for experienced adventurers. There is ice-climbing, cross-country skiing, and flat-wheel biking. It is a fantastic trip for photographers because the stunning beauty is unmatched anywhere in the world. Most travelers to Antarctica are going to a research station or visiting a friend or family member. There are no points of interest, museums, or art galleries. Some airstrips, such as Pegasus Field have been abandoned due to excessive melting. Not too many people travel to Antarctica, but if you are one of the brave souls with this goal, you will be rewarded with resplendent beauty and a lifetime of memories.
