Cheap Flights to Santa Barbara Municipal

Santa Barbara Municipal Airport

Lying on California’s southern coastline is Santa Barbara, a city situated between the Pacific and the Santa Ynez Mountains. Given its location, the climate here is deemed Mediterranean, which is one of the main reason it remains a popular tourist destination.

The population in Santa Barbara is quite small compared to most other cities in California, with only about 100,000 people living there in 2013. The resort destination and tourism industries are thus a major source of income, as are the technology, education, health care, and manufacturing industries. Not far from the mega-metropolis of Los Angeles, Santa Barbara truly is the “Riviera of the West” and it sports some of the best wineries and dining spots in the state.
