this is a fantastic place for your wedding anniversary, my mom grew up here, with a big lake, and mountain climbing. my family have a friend ZEB who own a hotel there. but i would have to look up the hotel. it has a spa, and walking distance to the lake, and center of town.

Zell am See is a great resort on the shores of a glassy lake in the Austrian Alps. The skiing is world class, with breathtaking views of the lake and the town is fun as well. It has a great and charming "altstadt" (old town) with some good restaurants. The ski school here is also great!

Like a little Shangrai-La -- a little town and a little lake surrounded by high mountains. I stayed here one night while cycling across Austria. I get weepy just thinking about it.
