"Thori resort is a bit away from the Thimphu city itself but therein lies its charm. Located on the top of a hill overlooking Thimphu you get a lovely view of the whole city no matter what time of the day it is. The night-view of the Thimphu city is simply mesmerizing. You can spend your whole evening sitting in the balcony with your friends/family, enjoying the great view. The restaurant has limited options and a bit on the expensive side. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. If you want to enjoy the city-life all the time, this is not a place for you. Or you must have your own car (as our group did)."
