Asian food heaven! The famous Asian food street in Richmond boasts hundreds of joints ranging from delicious Vietnamnese pho soups, a hotpot at every corner, mongolian bbq, izakaya and some of the most exquisite tasting and looking sushi. The Richmond summer market is filled with people, get a stamp for a few dollars and enjoy all the street foods that local vendors offers as well as merchandise. It is definitely a youngster's scene - a fun nighttime activity.

All I have to say...one will NEVER go hungry visiting Richmond BC. There are so many different types of restaurants at many different price points...opened at all times of the day. Thanks to the Canada Line Skytrain that has been placed in service since the Winter Olympics in 2010, getting into Vancouver is a breeze if without a car. Hotel rates in Richmond which is very close to YVR is also quite reasonable making Richmond area a viable option to stay when visiting the greater Vancouver area.

Richmond is part of the greater Vancouver area with a history of agriculture, fishing and ship building. It's an inexpensive place to stay while still accessible to Vancouver and also a great place for seafood.
