Eze is located just outside the Nice and you should definitely visit it if you're in town. Eze is home to such perfume companies as "Fragonard" and "Galimard". Their tours are very interesting, I personally recommend visiting the first one (I've been to both of them).

Probably my favorite day trip from Nice, including Monaco (sorry to lovers of Monte Carlo). When you board the bus in Nice, make sure you're going to Eze Villa (which sits on the hilltop) and not Eze-Sur-Mere, which is beautiful but doesn't offer a view.

Worth a visit. Nice little town on the height. Also worth a visit is the Jardin botanique d'Èze, a garden containing mostly all sorts of cactus. Panoramic view point here as well. Well worth a visit.

Eze is a small hilltop village close to Nice and Monaco renowned with tourists for the amazing panoramic Mediterranean Sea views it offers from atop, hence why it is often referred to as an 'eagle's nest'. It is a quaint and charming medieval village with narrow cobblestoned streets and pink bougainvillea. Many shops, galleries, restaurants and hotels adorn its streets and attract tourists and honeymooners. Eze, so different from the glamour and glitz of St. Tropez or Cannes, is the place for visitors that choose history and simple beauty over mega yachts and celebrities. We spent our morning wandering along the sloping streets, archways and tiny squares and stopping at the various arts and crafts shops as well as taking photos of the charming old buildings. Afterwards, we visited the Jardin Botanique and its collection of cactii. Eze also hosts some of the best fine dining restaurants offering typical French and Mediterranean cuisine. Unfortunately we had no time to dine in one and put that on the to do list for the next time.
