Best time I had in a while. Loved the food, and don’t get me started on the wine, you have to try “Alladasturi”! Most welcoming people ever
I was here during Tiblisi day. They gave me an incredible expirence during my say. The bread cheese and wine make life worth living. I had my flight get cancelled the next morning and was happy to stay another night.
Tbilisi is old capital very nice interesting and istorian I Love Tbilisi you?
Photo of the statue Kartulis Deda "Mother Georgia" looking down on the fascinating city of Tbilisi. The statue nearly seventy feet high was built in 1958 to celebrate the city's 1500 year anniversary. She symbolizes the Georgian character: in her left hand she holds a bowl of wine to greet those who come as friend, and in her right hand is a sword for those who are enemy. The Old Town is an area of narrow twisting lanes and lofty balconies . . . city has a "with it happening" feel. Suggest stay in Boutique British House which rests on a quiet leafy side street just off center of the city. Place is cozy with wonderful Georgian hospitality!
