One of the busiest cities we have ever been in, but everyone seems to be ok with it. I think it is best to go on a tour to make sure you see a lot and are able to get through traffic.

Ah Mumbai! My entry point and introduction to the magical country of India. What a gloriously busy place filled with such rich history and culture and colour. This buzzing city never slows down and can be quite an overwhelming experience but oh so worth it!

The world’s third largest city, with a population of over 17 million, Mumbai is also home to the Bollywood film industry. From ocean promenades where you can linger to watch glorious sunsets, to spiritual focus points and exciting night life - Mumbai has so much more to offer than the casual visitor passing through might realise. Mumbai is a place where extremes merge into each other, and divisions blur. It's a multicultural melting pot of different cultures, religions and languages living in close proximity to each other, with an overriding tolerant atmosphere and a warm friendly heart. It's a city where the very rich and destitute live side by side, where dogs can sleep peacefully in city streets dodged by frantic autorickshaw drivers. Mumbai is endlessly fascinating to me, and also has pretty perfect weather!
