Beautiful bridge right outside Nikko National Park. you can pay a nominal fee to cross the bridge, but you get better photos from the regular pedestrian bridge.

Truly magical if you can get there! Located only a couple hours north of Tokyo up in the mountains this little town has a lot to offer. The main town is located at the base of a mountain with several very sacred temples and shrines. If you take a ride up the mountain you'll be treated to several waterfalls, big beautiful glass like lakes and incredible scenery. And after a day of trekking enjoy one of the many onsen, natural hot spring baths, back in town.

This was as advertised! Temples galore and in the middle of the woods. A beautiful 5-story pagoda and gorgeous scenery. A must if you plan on venturing out of the cities of Japan.
