Get mobile – rent a car, or book a tour, and get out of Kotor. Don’t get me wrong, I love Kotor – but there’s a lot more to Montenegro. Like Cetinje, royal capital, current official residence of the President, and honorary capital of Montenegro. Cipur Church has special significance – rebuilt by King Nicola in 1890. The church was declared a cultural monument in 1971, and since 1989 has housed the remains of King Nicola and his wife Milena.

Cetinje is the cultural capital of Montenegro. Small quiet town with lots of cafe and museums in former embassies.
