When you are planning to head to the lovely and mysterious nation of Portugal and explore the capital city of Lisbon, there is much to see and do while you are there. Whether you plan to marvel at the centuries-old architecture of the Belém Tower and the São Jorge Castle, or you want to head to Bairro Alto to enjoy Lisbon shopping and nightlife, you will need to stay for at least a few days to explore the way you would like.
Lisbon is a city full of unique tourism opportunities such as the Lisbon Oceanarium, a waterfront aquarium featuring ocean ecosystems or the Lisbon Zoo with its conservation program. This is also a city that embraces history and art through the many museums and art galleries including Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, the Berado Collection Museum, and the Carmo Convent.
If you decide that you want to spend some time exploring what the capital city of Portugal has to offer, you will need to book yourself a hotel room. And there is no easier way to do so than to use the hotel search feature available through the Skyscanner App or website and the hotel search feature. Choose your travel dates and get a full list of available Lisbon hotel rooms. Then, if you wish to search specifically for certain amenities like free wireless internet, a pool, or fitness center, you can do so. You can also focus your search on specific price ranges or even on hotel star rating.
The prices for a hotel room in Lisbon can vary from incredibly cheap to moderate for the hotel quality. Hotel rooms in this amazing city are much more reasonable than other large European and US city prices with a three-star hotel room averaging at about $98 per night.
You can find luxury hotel options in Lisbon if that is what you are looking for. The average price range of a luxury hotel is $200 and up per night, but the fantastic accommodations, views, and locations are often well worth that extra cost. Five-star accommodations like those at the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon and the Intercontinental Lisbon are unparalleled in their decadence and luxe style. And the four-star options like the Radisson Blu and the Double Tree by Hilton offer comfort and class as well.
There are many unique boutique hotels to choose from in Lisbon if you are looking for accommodations like none other in the world. The Hotel Avenida Palace and the Internacional Design Hotel are just a few of the boutique hotels scattered throughout the city with almost royal room stylings and trendy restaurants and bars to spend your evenings in.
Lisbon reminds me of my home city of San Francisco, but that's not the only reason I love it. It's an incredible place to explore, from the history to architecture to food -- and doesn't break the bank. Love it there.
Incredible place with unique history. Worth to come back to keep exploring. For such a small country there is quite a lot to see. Highly recommend LX Factory in Lisbon. Don’t forget to visit Sintra as well which is relatively close to Lisbon.
Lisbon is fantastic. I will go there again. Porto is better. An amazing city
What a beautiful place and leisure to visit this place. We can only tour ride to see Cristo-Rei Statue, 25th April Bridge.
