In recent years, celebrities and pop culture icons have brought the once hidden island gem of Ibiza into the forefront of the world’s awareness. Ibiza is an island off the coast of Spain in the Mediterranean. It is an archipelago of Spain and a gorgeous destination with white sandy beaches and a gloriously warm and inviting climate and culture. Whether you want to spend your days on the beach or explore more on the island, you will never want to leave once you arrive.
The beaches are the main attraction in Ibiza and are where the party is usually happening if you are looking to spend your time on the island sunbathing, drinking, dancing, and cutting loose. Some of the most popular beaches in Ibiza include Cala Saladeta, Platja d'en Bossa, and Cala Tarida. However, if you would like to do more than just be a beach bunny, you may also want to consider heading to the Mercadillo Las Dalias for some shopping and music or to Necropolis of Puig des Molins, an important and breathtaking Phoenician archeological site with a museum as well as necropolis tours.
When you make the journey all the way to the island of Ibiza, you will want to at least stay a few days to soak in all of the sun, fun, and excitement. As such, you will need to find yourself a great hotel room on the island. The best deals and the easiest way to find them can be found through Skyscanner. Use the hotel search feature on the Skyscanner app or on the website. You can find a hotel room in Ibiza within your price range and with the amenities you want.
Because this archipelago is such a party destination, there are many luxury hotels in Ibiza. The Nautico Ebeso Hotel, Palladium Hotel Don Carlos, Hotel Torre Del Mar, and the Intertur Hotel Hawaii Ibiza are examples of four star hotels in Ibiza. For even more luxury, there are also many five star hotels as well. The Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel features unbelievable amenities including an on-site recording studio with electronic music instructors, luxury boats, a night club, two pools and more. And this is just one of the luxury hotels in Ibiza.
Hotels in Ibiza vary in price depending on the quality level of the hotel as well as their proximity to the beach. Three-star hotels generally cost around $221 a night in Ibiza on average but a five-star hotel can cost more along the lines of $559 per night.
Party island / Beach island and a nice little town to vacation in Spain. We took the overnight ferry from Barcelona to the islands. Very crowded with tourists so I must come back when its not high season.
Was nice on my 20s Lots of night life ! Litle Germany town the Castle and good food Love
Beautiful, romantic & fun! I highly recommend an Ibiza vacay! Walking into Ibiza old town is a bit of a hike, but it's so much fun. And so many lovely views.
There is a reason Ibiza is a playground that the glitterati love to frequent. You are able to party all night at nightclubs like Space and Pacha. The party continues all day or if you prefer quiet take advantage of staying at one of the many villas on the island. Playa d'en Bossa and Figuertas Beach are the closest to town, I would suggest either getting a guide or making a deal with a taxi driver (for a set fee) to take you to all of the remote, beautiful beaches that only locals frequent.
