Very beautiful and historic town, famous for the running of the bulls. As with most Spanish cities, do beware if you find yourself here on a Sunday it will be difficult to find any stores or restaurants open.
Nice city famous for its San Fermín feasts. Disco ver its ancient buildings, parks and fortresses.
A lot of people from around the world come to Pamplona for San Fermin (Running of the Bulls), but it's not all there is to the city. It's a lovely city, with an old town feel, small streets with plenty of shops/restaurants/bars, lively nightlife, huge arena for bull fight watching, family friendly place, and very welcoming of travelers. I enjoy walking up and down the narrow streets, looking up at the windows of iron balconies with flower pots outside, restaurants with al fresco dining, 3 or 4 generations of family eating and having a great time, and people out and about. A wonderful place to visit, and definitely check out San Fermin once in your lifetime. You might just come back year after year like the many visitors that do.
One of the oldest spanish cities, beautifull and historic city.
