U.S. Hotels in Seville, Spain

Seville is the capital of the autonomous community of Andalusia situated in Spain. It is home to the only river port in the country; said port is housed on the Guadalquivir River, which empties into the Atlantic Ocean. Tourists come to Seville to enjoy the unique Southern Spanish culture and internationally renowned festivals.

A rich tapestry of food and culture

Part of Seville's appeal is its Mediterranean climate, which creates mild winters and hot summers. Thus one of the best times of year to visit this city is from November to February, which are as warm as many other areas' summer months.

The two festivals that draw the most traffic are Holy Week and the Seville Fair, which occur two weeks apart in the springtime around Easter. Dancing and revelry are a must during this time, as are the consumption of tapas, gazpacho and magdalenas.

Where are hotels located?

Most hotels are located on the east side of the Guadalquivir and north of the University of Seville. This area is also where many historical buildings and tourist attractions can be found.

It's about a 2 1/2 hour drive but it's a fantastic city with great bars, loads of good restaurants and a magnificent cathedral. Be warned, it's unbelievably hot in summer!
