So this is a review for the town. That is a new idea. Well, it is an attractive beach front community with unique gift shops and restaurants. Conveniently located in between San Francisco and Santa Cruz, this is a get weekend getaway.
Simply beautiful! One of the best places to catch a sunset, and it's only 30 minutes from San Francisco. It's a lovely departure from big city life, with a quaint town and great beaches. There is a state beach that charges for day parking, or there's another just south through a neighborhood that's metered by the hour. It can get breezy, so bring a jacket!
This place! Seriously one of my favorite hidden gems in the peninsula. There's a couple of my favorite spots here: - La Nebbia Winery, grab a bottle and sit at the picnic tables or try some bocci - Sam's Chowder House - make sure to get a spot outside, also the Key Lime Pie! - Ritz Carlton - the outside firepits! I just absolutely love coming here to relax and unwind. Most of the time it is cloudy, but it's still such a beautiful quick getaway.
Beach destination with great ocean views and beach access plus shops and restaurants. Wear warmly as the beach can get cold.
