Nestled in the gorgeous White Mountains, this cute town is quintessential New Hampshire. There is great hiking and camping nearby in the summer and skiing in the winter.
We stayed a whole weekend at this place. Had some time to explore. It's quite a popular tourist spot, located very close to the Loon mountain (ski resort) and the Franconia Notch State Park (with lots of hiking and biking trails). The town has great many eateries, from Chinese to traditional American, one very popular spot is the Playjack's pancake house which opens for brunch, it's almost always full. The alpine adventures offers zipline adventures up in the mountains and Clark's trading posts has entertaining shows done by bears. There is quite a lot to do and see around Lincoln, the town is convenient and a good place to store up for that weekend nature trip.
