West Palm Beach is a small city in Florida known for its proximity to Miami and its warm weather. People travel to West Palm Beach to lay on its white sands near the ocean, enjoy the local performance arts, and attend film festivals. In West Palm Beach, you’ll be able to punctuate your beach bumming with trendy shopping, sporty activities in the water, and local Cajun cuisine.
The hotels in West Palm Beach are scattered around three areas: Palm Beach itself, Cityplace, and Grandview Heights. If you’re looking for the experience of a hotel room facing the ocean with an unobstructed view, you should confine your search to the Pam Beach neighborhood, which is a peninsula separate from the mainland.
In general, all the hotels in West Palm Beach have a decent view of a body of water, whether it’s the Clear Lake, the channel between the mainland and Palm Beach, or the ocean itself.
Hotels in West Palm Beach run from the affordable to the luxurious. If you’re looking to do West Palm Beach on a budget, you’ll be able to find a hotel room for around $100. If you’re looking for a luxury option or a room with a view, you may spend up to $400. Be sure to check with us here at Skyscanner to make sure that you get the best rate for your hotel booking.
The low price means that you probably don’t have too much to gain from going farther outside the main part of the city to get a lower priced room. If you’re still interested, there are cheaper hotels with lower quality standards and fewer amenities to the northwest, west, and southwest of the city.
Most of the hotels in West Palm Beach are higher quality than their price might suggest. Hotels in West Palm Beach are lush with amenities like pools, gyms, spas, and others. If you find a hotel that doesn’t offer these features, you should probably keep looking for another, as these features don’t add anything to the cost in this area.
Expect your hotel to have a roof deck, garden, pool, restaurant, shuttle service, concierge service, and other bells and whistles. Boutique hotels are no exception to this rule, nor are the large chain hotels in the area.
Nasty ass people here. Not a lot to do and see. The beaches are really nice and there’s a few nice places to eat. But I suggest you don’t spend more than a day here because you will want to punch everyone in the throat because of everyone’s attitude. You have to be careful driving because there’s a lot of shady places but nothing super scary.
West Palm Beach is a wonderful place to live, work, and play. As a Floridian myself I may be accused of having bias. But having traveled the world there is just something nice about West Palm Beach. It isn't as big as Miami but has a lot of the city appeal. I think it's a great place!
While we settle into the New Year and begin thinking about this year's logistics projects, many of us find ourselves drowning in a pile of spreadsheets alongside a mountain of research made up of frequently fragmented transport data which consists of much of last year's findings.
We took a day trip from Miami to see West Palm Beach. I guess those days there was no GPS and no smart phones. We just drove around aimlessly and got to see some nice houses near the beach. I must go back one day.
