Home to beautiful surroundings, coffee plantations, tons of hostels and adventure opportunities, it's no surprise Da Lat is a popular destination only a few hours drive from Saigon. The city is well-known for being the only city in the world without any stoplights. While most backpackers head out to the waterfalls just outside of town, there are some nice walking opportunities and markets in the city that are worth a visit.

Created by the French colonizers to escape the heat of Saigon, at 1.500 mt high, Dalat enjoy a cool climate. Today is a favorite for Vietnamese honeymooners and families. Some attractions are kitsch for western taste. But food and the outdoors are great for every body.

Dalat is one of Vietnam’s southern gems, which is hugely popular with local travellers as well as foreigners. The weather is a lot cooler than a lot of Vietnam and is a great place to come for outdoor activities. The town itself has remained very charming, despite the large influx of tourists and is set among beautiful countryside. There are a few historical buildings of note in the town, but no main attractions as such, so it is a great place to relax and embrace the welcoming countryside feel.
