Our opinion is that Denver and San Jose are radically different cities. Denver is much cheaper and more laid back than San Jose, and in general, the mountainous views of Denver are far more pleasant than San Jose’s neighboring city of Mountain View.
San Jose’s downtown area has some great food trucks and good Mexican cuisine, but otherwise, it’s important to keep in mind that it’s the capital of Silicon Valley, so it has a bit of a monoculture.
