Land’s End Chartroom

Order the Seafood Quartet that comes with shrimp, scallops, fish, and oysters for just $30. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner on an expansive outdoor deck with the most breathtaking views.

This charming bed and breakfast has the most accommodating host. Walk into a log cabin style lodge to a slice of homemade rhubarb pie and fresh cookies. Marvel at the mountains outside the window and wake up to a picture perfect breakfast before going out to explore the rest Homer has to offer. 


Flight-seeing is one of the best ways to take in Anchorage. Mountains, glaciers, and forests will emerge beneath your feet while you’ve got a bird’s eye view. It’s a cozy, quaint and nothing too fancy but when you step outside your surroundings consume you and inspire a connection with the outdoors that you just can’t get anywhere else.

The Squid Acres Kennel Dogsled Tour gives you the opportunity to see Fairbanks in a truly unique way. How often can you say you’ve been mushing? You can race, go on an expedition, or just take a casual ride. Play and interact with some of the dogs like Uncle Jesse, Ginger Spice, and Rollo.

The Pump House

Dine by the Chena River at The Pump House, a National Historic Site. The building itself is over 150 years old and the decorations match. Everything screams Victorian Era with an Alaskan flair. You can sit inside and marvel at the decor or pick a spot on their very generous deck and watch the ferry boats pass by as you dine on steaks and salmon.

Aurora Cabins

Alaska Aurora Adventures can put you in an Aurora Cabin with 2 bedrooms and all the amenities for $200 a night. This is a different experience because you can book a trip to the Chena Hot Springs with the same company. They will take you to relax in the springs and then over to the Ice Museum, a one of a kind affair.


Nugget Falls, the Mendenhall Glacier, and Visitor Centre, and zipline adventures await for the curious and adventurous travelers. This waterfall near the glaciers also flows near the beach. Guests can have the perfect photo opp surrounded by a waterfall, ice mountains, and a sandy backdrop. If you’re more of a thrill seeker try ziplining in Juneau with ten zip lines, two suspension bridges, and a 42-foot abseil.

The Hangar on the Wharf

Bragging rights for the largest beer selection in Juneau goes to Hangar on the Wharf. Inside is decorated quirky and cute while the outside offers a surrounding deck. This restaurant appears to be sitting on wooden stilts, talk about a rush. The fish and chips are a must at the Hangar, don’t forget a cold one. Sit back, relax, and enjoy.

Alaska Northern Sands

Alaska Northern Sands is a premier penthouse suite rental that is nestled on the sands of Auke Bay.
