New York City
Whether it’s your first trip to NYC or you are a native New Yorker, there is always more to experience in the city. See the sights from atop the iconic Empire State Building, have a classic girls’ brunch, lounge in Central Park, or wander around Chinatown for an unforgettable city escape.
With some of the best shopping and food on earth, New York City is a dream destination. In fact, whatever you are into, there’s a good chance that NYC has it in spades.
Austin is a dynamic place that blends Texas’s traditional culture, the city’s artsy scene, and influences from south of the border. From breakfast tacos to the Baylor Street Art Wall to the nightlife on Sixth Street and Rainey Street, Austin is nonstop.
Home to more than 250 live music venues, Austin is the Live Music Capital of the World and it has incredible festivals year-round. There is a very good chance that there is something amazing going on any weekend you visit.
How about a girls’ getaway filled with long, lazy afternoons at the beach and crazy nights at some of America’s hottest nightclubs? If you like to glam it up, you have to get to Miami’s South Beach.
And Miami is much more than just South Beach. Indulge in some of the city’s famous Cuban cuisine and ultrafresh seafood, and then explore the Design District, Little Havana, and the Lincoln Road Mall.
Two words: Mardi Gras! Experiencing this insane time of year from the French Quarter is an experience you have to have at least once. That said, anytime of year is a good time to visit New Orleans. The French Quarter is always hopping, and Louisiana is a place like no other. Explore the city, and then get out to see some of the striking plantations to get a glimpse at times gone by.
Of course, Nashville is a must-see for country music fans, but the city is much more than just that. Whatever kind of music you are into, you’re going to love this city. Nashville is home to a range of live music venues, hip bars, a thriving foodie scene, and some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.
A quick trip from Los Angeles or San Diego, Palm Springs has perfect weather and ample old-school glam. I love the retro fifties and sixties celeb vibe, and you’ll find that all over Palm Springs.
El Paseo Drive is one place you’ve got to explore. With hundreds of massive shops and cool independent boutiques, this is an ideal locale for a girls’ afternoon out. And, while you might not be near the beach, bring your bikini for Wet‘n’Wild water park.
Another California favorite, San Francisco has it all. You could spend weeks wandering around here exploring the countless neighborhoods, like the Mission, Chinatown, and the Marina.
Check out the classic sights, like the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Go chill with the locals at Ferry Building Marketplace. Dance the night away at one of the North Beach hot spots.
Nobody parties like Vegas! From kitsch casinos to super-swanky nightclubs, Las Vegas is the perfect spot to let loose. I spent last New Year’s Eve there, and it was extraordinary. If you are looking for a place where you go dress up, hit the town, and create some memories that you can cherish for a lifetime, Vegas is the place for you.
