There may not be a more beautiful city in all of Canada than Vancouver. Located on the west coast of Canada, the bustling metropolis is known for it’s amazing weather, friendly locals, delicious food and more! After arriving in the city, your first stop should be to drop off your luggage, quickly freshen up, and prepare for a fun first day in the city!

From your hotel, make a beeline for brunch because Vancouver has some incredible eats! Miura Waffle Milk Bar may have a silly sounding name, but they take brunch very seriously, and the small restaurant on Main Street is famous for their waffle sandos (a sandwich where waffles are used in lieu of bread). The garlic chicken waffle sando is one that must be tried.

Stanley Park should be next on your itinerary as it’s one of the most beautiful parks in all of North America. Filled with walking trails and lush greenery, the park is the perfect place to work off those calories from brunch. It’s also a great place to unwind and enjoy Vancouver’s natural beauty.

Since you’re already at Stanley Park, you should stop at Seawall. This lovely perimeter area of the park offers unforgettable views. If you have the time, rent a bicycle and you can ride Seawall around the city itself. Also, this is a great place for stargazing if you want to return at night.

After dinner, head out to one of Vancouver’s famous nightclubs for a night you won’t soon forget. The Roxy is a Vancouver institution that’s filled with great drinks, great music, and great people. Up and at ‘em! Hopefully, you’ll arise with nary a hangover and ready to conquer your last day in the city. Start with a quick sun salutation, take a shower, and let’s hit the road!

Tommy O’s Pacific Rim Bistro may just be the most underrated breakfast spot in the city. Here, a wonderfully friendly staff is serving up tasty treats like malasadas (Hawaiian style beignets), lobster omelets, and more! I recommend the island classic Loco Moco, a dish of rice, hamburger, eggs, and gravy.

Gotham Steakhouse is located in one of the city’s few remaining art deco buildings and serves up the best steaks in the city. A salad paired with a large Tomahawk steak and some wine is the perfect meal for the evening, but if other delights tickle your fancy, feel free to try something different.
