The setting here in summer months is outstanding. The patio is really something special. The food is good and they have a great happy hour in the bar.

El Pinto gets a mixed reputation, but the food is good and the atmosphere is hard to beat, especially in the late summer or early fall. Great for special occasions and for people from out of town.

Delicious Mexican food served in a charming setting with cultural guitar serenades, There is outdoor patio seating available. El Pinto is a favorite of celebrities and famous people who are known to frequently stop in here. The walls are full of pictures of many of them who have stopped by for a delicious taste of New Mexican food.

Went for large family dinner (19) on Fri eve post Xmas... the food was at best passable. Place was very busy? The chile relleno was tiny and very "doughy" not crisp as usual. The chile con queso was fabulous. The enchiladas were very bland even ordered hot flavor; the regular tacos were liked by all. I will say the servers were great dealing with such a large group but NOT the usual quality of food we have had over the past 30 years eating here

Great Mexican food! This is a large venue and very family friendly. Beautiful setting in the woods and very popular for this area. It is a little less casual than Flying Star. But you can always dress anyway you'd like around here.

Upon arriving I my first thought "this place is beyond touristy". And truth be told, it is to the 1000th degree.

But just because it's touristy doesn't mean that this place is not any good. In fact it's the complete opposite. The food is excellent with plenty of different menu options. A few stand outs, the pork ribs were fall off the bone delicious, the queso is think and flavorful-be sure to get a small bowl on the side.

Great service and if I ever find myself in the area again will for sure make it a point to visit here again.
