City of about 275,000, lots to do and see. Don't expect water activities here though. Beware of drivers; they are not that friendly. It's a cowboy way of life here.

Stayed in Amarillo on the way to New Mexico. Texas at its most native and cowboy country. It was hot and dusty but the food was good.

I've been here because of my family driving back and forth. My father was in the Air Force. I've also been here for shopping with a good friend.
