I love the Grove Park Inn. My mom lives close by in Flat Rock and I try and go here every time I'm down in the area. The Terrace Restaurant is fabulous (great biscuits) and the view is impeccable. The spa is equally as terrific. Beautiful grotto, helpful and attentive staff, amazing treatments. GPI is the best!!!

Grove Park has such a wonderful history and ambiance to it. 2 huge stone fireplaces. Grove Park has the best brunch in the area. I guarantee you won't walk out of there hungry.

Amazing views. Good restaurant options. Deck dining is spectacular in the warm season and the lobby/fireplace is fabulous in the cold months.

When you visit the Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa, be prepared to be wowed! This is a beautiful and historic place with fun for everyone. Enjoy the 18-hole golf course, the luxury spa, dinner at one of the many amazing restaurants, or a drink by the fire in the Grand Old Hall. Make sure you take pictures....lots of great mountain backdrops to choose!

A must see in Asheville. Go for a cocktail on the veranda or stay for dinner. At Christmas the National Gingerbread House competition is here with spectacular Gingerbread homes on display.

Was the best spa I have been to. The underwater music in the pool was awesome! Was very pricey, tho!

Dress up and go to see this historic 1911 Inn/ 4 star resort, sit on the sunset veranda for a meal or grab a rocking chair in front of the huge fireplace with your favorite drink. Act like you own the place. Treat yourself to the spa cave.

A castle. Don't expect pristine conditions, but you can bet the bank you'll be more than impressed by this landmark. The hotel was built nearly 100 years ago. Its got a massive wood burning fireplace in the lobby that I could easily stand up in (I didn't try it). The resort is perched/overlooks a sprawling green lawn/golf course, amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains. Asking the staff, I found out F Scott Fitzgerald stayed there for a couple summers, Thomas Edison, George Gershwin, Obama, Clinton, Henry Ford...have all stayed here. I was there in the Springtime...which was amazing, but if i had to do it again, I'd go in teh Fall to see this beauty complimented by Autumn foliage.

This is such a unique hotel. It's literally nestled into the mountain and the "Arts and Crafts" exterior is so distinctive. That said, it's getting dated and could use a lil' TLC (especially the "old wing"). The rooms are pretty good, but the common spaces (especially the hallways) show a lot of wear and tear. The staff also seemed a bit discombobulated. No major issues, but I expect more when paying top dollar (and based on the Inn's reputation). The views are still spectacular, and despite being rough around the edges this place still oozes charm and history. And the spa is not to be missed!

This is one of the most beautiful "Arts and Crafts" style inns in America. The surrounding area has days and days worth of attractions, including the Biltmore Estate and Great Smokeys National Park. The hotel and spa are absolutely luxurious, with spectacular views and ammenities. Highly recommended!
