Swizzle. This potent rum and fruit juice cocktail is legendary for making the locals "loco" and the tourists "tipsy"! Since 1962, the Swizzle Inn has been owned and operated by the Correia family. Johnny and Jackie were the husband and wife team for many years and then their son Jay took over in 1990. 2002 marked the 40th anniversary of the family running Swizzle Inn which coincided with Jay's 40th birthday. A number of changes to the business have taken place over the years including the opening of the restaurant in 1973, opening the second floor to dining and a gift shop in1993 and expanding the patios and parking lot in 2000. However, one thing that has never changed has been the unique pub area with its graffiti and business cards as well as the rustic furniture and fixtures. The visitor books date back to 1942 and are full of funny anecdotes about people's visit to Swizzle Inn. Swizzle Inn means something different to everyone but the one common experience is that all enjoy a truly unique Bermudian experience with every visit to this landmark in Baileys Bay. Be it lunch, dinner, a cool swizzle on the patio or a trip to the Swagger Out Gift Shop the Swizzle Inn has something for everyone.

A really funky place to eat. It is famous for its rum swizzle, a wonderful concoction of rums and fruit juices, which go down oh, so smoothly! But beware! All is not as it seems . One swizzle is good, 2, OK, but more can pack a punch. Do not drink and drive!

This is a popular casual dining restaurant with Bermuda rum swizzles and other local drinks that you will love. Just make sure you hire a cab if you plan to drink cause the rum is kicking here in Bermuda.

It's true, you will "swizzle in and swagger out," as the slogan warns. Come here for a famous rum swizzle, some good food and live music.

I agree it is a "must see" restaurant. The food is acceptable...the swizzle is to die for. The Swizzle Inn is a great way to relax after experiencing the caves nearby. Order a pitcher of Swizzle and be sure to get a shirt from the gift shop. Good times!!!

This is a must do on most visitor's lists of places to visit in Bermuda. supposedly the rum swizzle was created here. It is an old tavern style place with lots of atmosphere. The rum swizzles by the glass or pitcher are delicious, not too strong an alcaholic taste. Which is good except if you have 3 pitchers for 4 people, they sneak up on you. LOL You definitely leave here with a big smile on your face. Their slogan is "swizzle in, swagger out" and it is accurate. The food was decent, and not too expensive. Good hamburgers and an excellent seafood chowder they are known for. Another famous Bermuda drink in the Dark and Stormy, made with Goslings famous black seal rum and ginger beer. This is the original place, and they opened a second version on the South Shore near Elbow Beac h

They say you'll swizzle in and stagger out, and I'd have to agree. With some of the strongest (and most tasty) drinks this side of the Sargasso Sea, The Swizzle Inn knows how to pack a powerful rum punch. The food is also quite good - standard pub options with a bit of Bermudian flare. Whatever you do, don't pass on the Bermuda fish chowder...it's to die for.
