shops despite numerous protests that they were an impediment to traffic. With antique shops, flower stores and a refreshing juice bar, pedestrians certainly have a reason to visit this attraction, as if the scenic River Avon wasn’t reason enough.

One of only three bridges in the world lined with shops, this exquisite 18th-century bridge is one of the most admired structures in Bath

A visit to Bath is not complete without seeing the beautiful Pulteney Bridge. Take a boat ride into the City from Bathford.

Such an odd feeling to know you’re on a bridge and have it look like a street! Higher end/local shops along it, but the tea room is definitely worth a visit if you can snag a table with a view over the river!

A bridge with shops and cafes built into it. Really fun and interesting to walk down or pop into. One of the cafes has a great seat right by the window so you can look down at the Weir.

One of the nicest spots in the city of Bath, the Georgian Pulteney Bridge spans the River Avon. It is one of the only bridges in the world to have shops on both sides – in the style of the old London Bridge. It’s beautiful viewed from the south side with the weir in front, but perhaps even more interesting viewed from the ‘back’, the north side, where wooden overhangs jut out from the shops.

A bridge that is best viewed from the riverbank. Because of the shops lining the bridge it feels as though you are travelling along a normal street

I was there shortly after the Queen's Jubilee and there was a ton of activity going on. Lots of kayaks and canoes on the river. Great atmosphere. Didn't get a chance to check out the shops though.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe this is the only bridge int he world with storefronts on both sides. It overlooks a weir (as you can see in the pic) and is super photogenic at sunset.
