Bellevue is located a short distance from Seattle on the coast of the Puget Sound. This clean and charming city is home to lots of places to eat, drink, stay, and explore, which are not surrounded by the relatively hectic big city atmosphere present in Seattle. biggest city, Bellevue has some truly unique attractions. There is a rather extensive Doll Museum located in Bellevue that brings a bit of unconventionality to the area. There is also the Bellevue Botanical Gardens that are particularly exciting during the winter holidays when they are draped in lights. Lake Washington is close to Bellevue, and tours of the scenic area include a drive by of Bill Gates’ astounding mansion. The Top Gun restaurant, which actually relocated from Seattle to Bellevue, is just one of many great places to eat. If you are visiting Seattle, don’t hesitate to take a tour of Bellevue, and grow your appreciation for the beautiful Puget Sound area of Washington.

Seattle's reputation for wet weather is perhaps both deserved and overblown: it doesn't actually get as much total rain as many other U.S. cities, but it does have more days per year with at least some amount ... Read more
of precipitation. For your best chances of not having your picnic rained out, visit between March and September when the rain is least heavily concentrated and the city’s residents make their way outdoors for music festivals galore. Temperatures in this coastal city are pretty mild, rarely getting hotter than the low 80s (27-29C) in the summer or dipping below freezing in the winter.

Bellevue is so clean and pristine it's unbelievable. The downtown Bellevue area has some of the best eateries in Washington. The views of Mount Rainier in the Cascades are priceless

There is something about a city that keeps reinventing itself again and again. It's a clash of innovators and pöshters who love to walk and shop and live high in the air. With Microsoft techies they welcome Chihuly glass plantings in their malls and museums. They live out loud because they can. And they hardly recognize that there is an emerald city across the pond called Seattle. For them they've got the goods in Bellevue!

Andeamo's.

Lovely Italian Restaurant with parking nearby. Beat Italian food I ever ate, especially their soppa de peche ( fish soup). My husband and I usually split the Ceasar salad, which has a delightful hint of anchovy and is absolutely Devine. We then follow this by splitting the Soppa de Peche, since the portions are very large.

Andiamo's recognizes their customers by giving their frequent diners a 20% discount.

Bellevue is a Seattle suburb but it's home to one of the most hipster communities I know. There are Expedia, Amazon, and tons of Microsoft people who frequent this quaint town. The budding food scene is great here. I especially enjoy the little cafes you can find. Rainy days are only made better by spending it here in Bellevue.

Bellevue is a very green city just outside of Seattle. There is so much green here. TMobile is also headquartered right off the 90.

Bellevue is located in the suburban outskirts of Seattle. It is one of the wealthiest areas in Washington, with several prominent Microsoft buildings based around the town. Despite its new-tech gentrification, there are still glimmers of old school Bellevue, such as Gilbert's Main Street Bagel.

Bellevue is a city that relies on the tech industry millionaires to make it interesting. I find it a bit soulless.

Not a lot to do here but it's quite similar to Vancouver, at least the weather is.

I worked at the Bellevue Art Museum who had the most extraordinary collections and my gift shop wasn't bad either (and I loved living in Bellevue)
