This place not only saved me the cold wintry days in Berlin, but it also offered me a remarkable sense of peace and disconnection. They call it an urban bathing culture. It feels like a desert island retreat. Sauna, massage therapy, steam room, even a fruit room - the offerings are endless and the experience is exquisitely decadent. The best part of all is the warm saltwater pool with underground music where you can hear live music sets of jazz, electronic, even classical. This is a place where you can really take care of yourself while enjoy every minute of it to the max.

24euro for a 4hour ticket to heaven! Warm pools, cooling basins, external warm pool and 4 different saunas, lounge and massage area. If you want to combine wellness with fun, in the weekend there are DJs after 8pm!

First of all, Americans be warned: nudity mandatory in the sauna, and yes, it is unisex. But if you go into the pool, swimsuits are mandatory, so you'll be going back and forth rather awkwardly. It's a really lovely experience, relaxing and in a beautiful atmosphere, but this isn't the place to go if you want a really hot, hot, hot sauna or steam room.

OK, so it does cost €29 to get in. There's that. (You can also rent a swimsuit for €5 and a towel for another €5.) But this place is worth every eurocent. And I'm broke. Positively unique art/water experience that was for me (a lifelong swimmer) a downright healing experience. I spent most of my time in the main pool -- a low-ceilinged, low-light, nearly silent above water, ambient music under water, exactly-the-right temperature salt water pool. Most people are there in couples, but that didn't bother me (I was there alone). You can use noodles to float around or have your friends tow you around and rub your toes. It sounds simple, but the experience was other worldly. There are also gorgeous wet and dry saunas and smaller soaks. I bought a two-hour entrance and would up staying for four hours.
Aside from all the actual amenities (also there's a bar where you can buy snacks and drinks), the place is filled with the most beautiful art! Images of light reflecting on water that has different famous songs piped into it, the photographs wind up looking like mandalas. These are incredibly beautiful images that hand throughout the facility and will certainly consume you while you wait for your friend to emerge from the restroom or wherever.
Three thumbs up!!!!!

Ahhhh! LIQUID-DROM! that's how I pronounce it anyways. My friend is going to kill me for reviewing this because it doesn't need any more hype or tourists...but this was the most insane experience I went to. It's under 20 EU to get in for 2 hours, but this covers the saunas, the hot tubs, and the main salt-water pool. It's open until 1 am on the weekends, perfect if you're wanting to wind down the night after a few too many beers...or if you've just been out clubbing for 2 days straight ;)

I hung out in the Himalayan salt chamber sauna and the revolving fruit, salt, and honey saunas in their Finnish room. Be prepared to be nude, as all swimsuits are banned from the sauna for hygiene reasons! Also, be prepared to see men and women both mixed in these saunas. If you're shy, you can bring an extra towel to wrap around you. They also rent big bathrobes for only 5 EU which I highly recommend.

The main saltwater pool requires swim suits, and there is some hanky panky in the dark corners, but mostly it's relaxing with club lighting, lots of floating, and the salt does wonderful things to your skin. This place is a must go to location.
