Beautiful museum and personally one of the best ones in Berlin! It has a huge collection of archaeological finds from Egyptian, Nubian and etc. times. Entrance for an adult is pretty big (~10-15 EUR) but everyone up to 18 years of age can enjoy it free of charge!

Local from Berlin, Germany

A fairly widespread collection of prehistoric, Greek and Egyptian artifacts. The highlight is the bust of Nefertiti. If you've never seen any other museums with Egyptian or Greek artifacts this would probably be very interesting, but we found ourselves just kind of walking through. The cafe was a nice stop, though, as there's nothing close to the museums food-wise.

Located on UNESCO World Heritage site 'Museum Island', the Neues Museum is housed in a lovely restored neoclassical building. Their Egyptian collection is nothing less than amazing, but their prehistoric art is pretty great too.

The features display here is definitely the bust of Nefertiti, but do stay for the different atriums and courtyards. Be sure to check out the Egyptian courtyard.
