If you've received a postcard from Boracay, it likely had Willy's Rock on it. This large, black volcanic rock formation is so unexpected on the miles of otherwise uninterrupted white sand beach is ... Read more
indeed striking, and has become an icon of Boracay. Most of the formation disappears in high tide, but can be explored in full when the tide is low. A shrine to the Virgin Mary has been placed on top of the formation.

It's just a rock located in Station 1 in Boracay's Wite Beach. It has become Boracay's most photographed landmark.

There is a statue of the Virgin Mary on top of the rock with stands about 20 metres from shore. When tide is low, you can actually walk over but otherwise, you'll have to do a short swim. It's one of the most popular photo taking spot on the beach.

I don't know why people like this rock as I feel it's just a normal rock. You can sometimes find fish swimming around though. People love to take photos here so you can do the same but I really see nothing special here.

Willy's Rock is one of the most photographed sight in the island. Boracay experience will not be complete if you will not visit this place. It is located at Beach Station 1. It may be a bit far if you are staying in a hotel or resort in Station 2 or 3. It is best to visit during sunrise because there are less people coming to the place. You may also try visiting during sunset and enjoy the sunset colors. Its best to walk the beach but if its too hot you may take a trike at the main road.
