Love the park!! Doesn't compare to Central Park, of course but still quite big for Boston.

Boston Common is beautiful. You’ll have a great view if you stroll through for a visit. There plenty of nearby history and the buildings are stunning:

Awesome place for the whole family. Between the Frog Pond, the carousel, open air theatre, etc., it's a great place to spend the entire day, and the underground parking is cheaper than most alternatives in Boston.

I go to Northeastern University and the commons aren't that far of a walk away from campus. It's a really nice area to go to during all seasons, and I often find myself feeling much more relaxed after a walk around.

The Boston common is a very large park starting below the state house leading up to The Mall. With historical statues, plaques and play areas it is also home to what seems like thousands of squirrels.

America's oldest park. Start the freedom trail here and follow it to the north end, all tourists gotta do that one day.

One of the oldest city park in the United States, the Boston Commons Park is located in Downtown Boston and is the central public park in the city. The historic freedom trail runs through it and it is right next to the very beautiful Boston Public Gardens.

beautiful place to spend an afternoon wandering around. The freedom trail runs past if you want to check out some history or there are plenty of statues and then there's the Swan boats...

No trip to Boston is complete without a stop at Boston Common and The Public Gardens! The Common is home to many big events like the Scooper Bowl, a lot of summer concerts and usually a popular spot to view the Red Sox or Patriots Parade! Check it out in the winter time for Frog Pond Ice Skating or its famous New Years event, First Night. They have Fireworks at 7 for the kids, ice sculptures, and music.

You must walk through Boston Common on your first trip to Boston but it is not as great as Central Park.

A large open space that often hosts different activities or festivals. Some areas are nicer than others. The area around the fountain has a piano where students from the music conservatory play.
