All I can say is that this place is very humbling and very moving. A simple walk thru the memorial only takes around 10 minutes but, instead, spend more time here. Look all the way up the glass walls and see those six million numbers, imagining all of those people and what those numbers stood for. The vapor that rises up from the floor, reminding us of the gas chambers, is absolutely chilling. Take the time to read quotes that make it almost impossible not to cry. A quote towards the end, while I can't remember it's exact words, has meaning that I'll never forget. "If we don't stand for each other now, when it comes to your turn, who will stand with you?"

This is a pretty memorial over by Quincy Market near where the Purple Shamrock used to be.

The memorial is small, but it packs a punch. It is easy to stumble on it if you're walking, but it's well worth some time for reflection.

Crazy beautiful out door memorial. I was assuming this was going to be indoors, and although the memorial is relatively small it sure speaks loudly. I recommend stopping by.

A somber walk through memorial of Holocost victims. Nice to see this tribute in Boston so this next generation is informed and we all remember.

I gave it only 4 stars because it isn't exactly enjoyable, but it is 5 star meaningful.

Tall thin rectangles with heated air from the floors commemorate victims of the Holocaust. Walk meditatively among them. Deserves the time.

This beautiful memorial remembers six million Jews who perished during the Holocaust in WWII. Each tower represents one of six major death camps built by the Nazis. At night it lights up as representing a menorah of memorial candles. Very moving!

It's tough to get a genocide memorial right, but this comes pretty close. Visitors walk through several towering glass "chimneys," each of which has about a million numbers - the same numbers that were branded onto prisoners' arms - engraved in the glass to recognize each victim of the Holocaust, while steam rises from grates below you. This part is very well done. the location in the middle of a busy, toursity section of Boston, right by the architecturally unfortunate City Hall, detracts from the experience, but maybe feeling uneasy is the point.
