and some of the best pastry shops and Italian restaurants in town. The Italians established themselves here in the 1870s, and the cultural influence is evident. Historic monuments like Paul Revere’s House are located here, as well as a statue for the patriotic equestrian.

Local and tourist go to for Italian food. There’s tons of small eateries in the neighbourhood, which consists of a few blocks. It’s historic, charming and definitely worth a stop for dinner.

Fun if you're doing Boston for a Day, possibly along with the Freedom Trail, JFK Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Gardner Museum or Fanuil Hall, to name a few.

I loved the North End! The food was delicious and you could feel the culture radiating off of the cobblestones! To top it off, you have Mike's pastry!

This is my favorite section of Boston. Open air Italian restaurants, history, and the best bakeries in the area. There is a walking pizza tour- what else could you ask for? Maybe a walking cannoli tour.

The North End of Boston is easily one of my most favorite parts of the city! I adore all of the little specialty mom and pop shops. I love that you'll walk the neighborhood and actually had Italian being spoken. It feels like a still authentic Little Italy, unlike New York City's and San Francisco's. It's adorable, it's historic, and you can't miss having a canoli or a Lobster Tail pastry here.

The North End of Boston is also known as "Little Italy" with hundreds of restaurants, Cafes, Pastry shops, Historic Landmarks; such as Paul Revere's home, and The Old North Church famous for it's part in the Battle of 1776. The North End is also on the Freedom Trail.

The North End is Boston's Little Italy! Full of Restaurants, Cafe's, Gelato Stands, It's a great area to walk around! My Highlights you have to hit would be: Pizzeria Regina on Prince St, Polcari's Coffee Shop, and Mikes Pastry, & Mother Anna's!!! Also if your there in the summertime they have a lot of street festivals.

Went to the north end for dinner and an improv show. Delicious mid-high priced Italian food (but worth it).

The North End is still a great mix of Italian restaurants, historic buildings and proximity to the water that make it such a great place to visit (or live in). Since the Greenway went in, you can see extra investment in the neighborhood paying off without losing its character. A must when visiting Boston.

I recommend La Famalia Gergio's for an excellent formal meal at a good price.

Great neighborhood for the food lovers. The concentration of good Italian restaurants and pastry shops is fun to look at and explore. I was there for the first time over Marathon weekend, and the area was buzzing with carb-loading runners.

One of my favorite areas in Boston! The North End is as close as you can get to Italy in New England. Fantastic food and a great atmosphere.

Like a slice of Europe right in Boston. Get ready for small, crowded streets.

This is Boston's oldest neighborhood and it is Italian. Walk this historic area with it's wonderful restaurants and cobblestone streets (wear good walking shoes).

If I have to choose just one single place to love in Boston, it would be North End (aka. Little Italy). I'm thoroughly infatuated with this little corner with great food, thriving Italian culture, and a piece of history. I remember my first food-venture in North End, equipped with the Yelp App, I was unable to decide where to go eat, because every single restaurant within my vicinity had 4+ stars. Being a lover for Italian food, over the years, I have been to countless restaurants at Little Italy and I was dazzled every time by the quality and authenticity of the foods. Most restaurant retained their European atmosphere, small, cozy, and sometimes buzzing with enthusiastic staff with an open kitchen. Some of the best seafood, Italian joints, and bakeries famed in all of Boston can be found here, Neptune Oysters and Daily Catch, Giacomo's and Mamma Maria, Mike's Pastry and Modern Pastry. And my favorite entertainment spot - Improv Asylum also found its home here.

And then there is me, who's on a mission to try all the wonderful places in North End.

The whole week we stayed in Boston, we ended up at North end for the food almost every other day.

North end is a popular tourist location with amazing Italian food and sweets. Regina pizza and Neptune oysters were my favorite. My boyfriend loved this one small Italian place across from Mike pastry. Long line and wait but it was worth it.

If you're lucky they'll have farmers market or live music nearby.

First time I was here years ago I was fortunate to stay with a good friend who lived in the neighborhood.

I would say this is my favorite place to eat in Boston.
