Bratislava is a really charming place. Small cobbled streets with plenty of cozy caffes serving delicious food. It offers fantastic sights and plenty of things to do. Danubiana art museum, Bratislava castle, nature around the town just to name a few. Definitely should be on your bucket list. I love coming back.

Nothing special to see, BUT in city center there is a Wine-honey Shop, must taste all of them!

Bratislava is like the red-headed stepchild on the banks of the Danube. It is not as gorgeous as Vienna or as interesting as Budapest, but many river cruises do take a little stopover here. You really don't need to spend more than one or two days here to get a feel for the city. Once you are situated in the center of town, you can pretty much walk everywhere and enjoy what the city has to offer. We loved all the quirky little statues that we found, and the architecture of the old buildings is really beautiful. Bratislava can be easily overlooked, but it is definitely worth a stop on an eastern Europe trip.

It is a beautiful view point from the top of the mountain. (The view point is from the castle) The castle of Bratislava is a must see. You have to pay to enter, but it is worth it.

Beautiful laid-back town with tons of history and charm. An easy one-hour drive (and slightly longer train ride) from Vienna, it makes for a perfect day trip if you are in the area.

Brastislava is the capital of Slovakia. Bratislava Castle, German is the main castle of Bratislava. The massive rectangular buislding with four corner towers stands on an is isolated rocky hill of the Little Carpathians directly above the Danube River in the middle of Bratislava. The location provides excellent views of Bratislava, Austria and many legends are connected with the history of the castle.

really interesting spot. Close to Vienna, good for a day trip or a few days to explore. Still a bit off the beaten path but not for long.

A city which I grow bored quite easily. It lacks the typical European grandeur and style. I must say the city looks flat and can be considered as "too modern" from what I have anticipated. Just hope the mountain high tatras area of Slovakia can wow me with her blessed natural beauty.

Bratislava is my hometown and I love mainly the Old City. The dominant feature is the Castle that sits on the hill over the city.
