The walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, whether you're walking from Brooklyn to Manhattan or vice versa, is one of the most iconic walks New York City has to offer.
When you're taking pictures, try not to block other pedestrians or cyclists. At best, you're inconveniencing other sightseers like you -- and at worst, you could be hit by a bicycle. The best place to take pictures is at the two towers of the bridge, where there's space for sightseeing away from the bike and pedestrian traffic.

Yesterday I saw an 80-year-old man sunbathing in a golden thong in Brooklyn Bridge Park. I guess what I’m saying is that it’s a perfect place to live your best life.

If you are in New York you really must take a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and then grab a drink and spend some time people watching in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Once you have rested make your way down to the riverside. If you follow the path South you will find the perfect view of Manhatten right at the end of the path.

An institution in NYC offering you some of the best views of the city.

Wander over and grab a beer and pizza in Brooklyn, one of the cities best districts.

Walking across the Brooklyn bridge is cool but taking a ferry underneath is even better.

Absolutely a must see in Brooklyn. The promenade also overlooks this gem so be sure to check it out as well. In the summer BBP is the place to be; from open BBQ areas to free movies in the summer you can't go wrong.

Beautiful walking place with phenomenal views of the city. Easy access on both sides, Manhattan and Brooklyn. 10/10 experience. Defiantly recommend going at sunset or sunrise for the best picturesque views.

The Brooklyn Bridge Park is located in Brooklyn's trendy neighborhood DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass). It may not be as well-known as Central Park, but it is definitely worth a visit. The park is home to the beautifully restored Jane's Carousel, which was built in 1922.

Such a vast city, NYC is a difficult weekend trip. With that said, we made sure to set aside time to explore Brooklyn during our three-day visit. Only a short ferry ride across the East River, it has a much different feel than the hustle-and-bustle of Manhattan.

I will never plan a trip to NYC without a designated DUMBO day.

Walking the Brooklyn bridge was pretty fun and you get to see the awesome NYC skyline. Just make sure to be aware of your surroundings and note that there are pedestrian lanes and bike lanes.

It's iconic for a reason. Bike or walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to get breathtaking views of this spectacular city. Prepare for heavy traffic on weekends.
