Hill in a location adjacent to Matthias Church. Filled with winding staircases, parapets, turrets and white stone projections, on a clear day, the Bastion offers unrivaled views of Margaret Island, Saint Stephen’s Basilica and Parliament. Seven towers that symbolize the seven historic tribes of Hungary offer the best photography angles; you can enter them for a small fee. Entrance to the rest of the Bastion terrace is free of charge.

There are some amazing views of the city from this wall. The upper view was free when we went, but I believe there is typically a charge. But the views are equally great from the free, lower level. We visited in the winter, and it was pretty free from tourists in the morning (before 11am) and in the evening.

Maybe the best view of the city, the first entrance there s an entrance fee, however continuing along the Church , on the second tower the entrance is free. Worth the views over the city, Parliament and other majestic buildings .

Although they charge to get on the Fisherman's Bastion, you can enjoy the beautiful structure and fantastic view without paying the 700 HUF.

Fisherman's Bastion in Budapest was built in 19th century. The Bastion takes its name from the guild of fishermen that was responsible for depending this stretch of the city walls in the middle Ages. The views from the Fisherman's Bastion well deserve their own special tower atop the Buda Castle Hill, as not only the Buda Castle but also the river views and the Banube riverfront sights are now part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

A trip up to Fisherman's Bastion in Buda offers arguably the best views in the whole city. This massive structure of white stone is joy to walk around and explore. Here you'll look out over the Danube, the stunning Parliament building and all of Pest stretching out into the distance.

For me the most beautiful place in Buda. From the tom you can see beauty of the city during day and also during night when everything is sparkling and shining.

Beautiful mans you get amazing views of the city from the top. But it is packed with tourists all day. Tip: Go after sunset, the views get better and the crowds disappear

A beautyful panaroma place to the city on the Castle Hill in front of Matthias Church. This complex built from the supports of the guild of Fischerman's, thatswhy the comical name. Take Your camera and enjoy the view to the Pest side of the city.

One of the first places you should visit when you are in Budapest so that you can get a great view of the city. The walls are not old, but were rebuilt in a great "old castle" look. It is quite a hike up the hill, but you can also take a taxi or the funicular if you are not up to the physical activity.

Really beautiful complex in the Buda castle district that overlooks the river. I went there at night and it was magical! You have to pay to climb up the towers (which were shut when I went) but you can still view the river from the lower parts.

This is one of the most beautiful places that I've visited. There's something about it sitting there with a great view over the river. You need to visit it at night as well, so you can see all the lights and hear the locals playing music there. It's such a great venue.

This is a must stop for all tourists. The views of the Pest side day or night are beautiful, especially of the Parliament building and the Chain Bridge on the Danube River.

Very nice looking place! Also, the view over the city and especially the parliament building is just great! Try to be there in the night - Budapest will be illuminated and you can take very nice pictures.

So called because it was built as a monument to the Guild of Fishermen. The best views of the Pest side of the river are to be had from here.
