A classic from the past, still popular today. The menu has hardly changed and the prices are still very reasonable. Parking can be tough.

it's one of the few Bob's Big Boy's burgers left in the area, and I think one of the originals. Menu is surprisingly pared down for lunch, which is actually nice - they do certain things and they do them well. I like their patty melt, and the meals come with salad. The brownie dessert is appropriately decadent.

Not a fan of the burgers, so many better option around pretty much anywhere else, but this place is a classic and if in the area, you must to stop by and try at least once or at least get a picture with the Big Boy

This place is amazing. The food is pretty good. Maybe not be the nicest place to eat but it's worth it.

Bobs is one of my favorite local spots . It's a classic spot in Toluca Lake and is an original since the 50's .

You cannot go wrong with the double decker or all day breakfasts . Plus , they have Pappy Parker fried chicken .

Service is always good and efficient , they are always pretty busy , but worth it .

You can't help but love Bob's Big Boy, especially when it's the original Bob's Big Boy! This is the Bob's where David Lynch wrote Twin Peaks while sipping, what I assume was, many a cup of coffee!

as a kid growing up in the 70's and 80's bob's big boy gave us kids the ultimate experience in dining out!

right when you pull up into the parking lot all you see is a big boy statue smiling at you calling you over to crawl and climb all over it. besides an hour or so of that and reading and coloring the fun comic books that are available with the menu's for children you gotta get that famous double hamburger that big boy made sooo famous. to top off the experience you begged your parents to order the huge hot fudge ice cream cake for dessert so you could just climb into the car after wards and pass out for the entire ride home.

growing up in the bay area i can recall a good 5 locations that i was lucky enough to visit on a regular basis. these days i'm not sooo lucky since most of the locations are down south and further east. we can all thank the marriott corporation for the downfall but i'm happy to see things are looking up as the word is they may be sprouting out in more places very soon. i can't wait to get my big boy back. bob's big boy made such an impact on me there is even a reminder on my back, my big boy tattoo. i have even driven to the original location in burbank a few times and have a pretty cool big boy collection of merchandise.

until the day the big boy comes back to the bay area i highly recommend you try the burbank location if your ever out that way.

I haven't dined at a Bob's Big Boy in years. My mom & I had time to kill before attending "The Ellen Degeneres Show" at the Warner Bros. lot, so we decided to hoof it to the nearest Starbucks. Lo & behold, there's BBB right next to it. We dropped 75 cents for 2 LA Times (admit it - you get more than 1) and we were seated promptly.

The atmosphere is just as I remembered. The ubiquitious Big Boy dolls & other memorabilia displayed proudly around the dining area. We opted for their signature omelette with choice of ingredients, choice of potatoes & choice of bread, along with a bottomless coffee. The servings were more than adequate and I don't know if it was the cold weather or not, but the coffee really hit the spot. Our refills can account for that. Didn't have the Big Boy burger this time, but perhaps next time.

Dining here was a great way to pass the time, enjoying breakfast & sharing a meal. I'd much rather go to BBB than a Denny's or Coco's.

Open 24hrs!

A land mark yes. But a total waste of your $$s if you expect quality food here.

Classic American burger joint, in the vein of Johnny Rockets and Mel's Drive-In. The Original Big Boy is filling. The sauce is exquisite. Better than the Big Mac, obviously.

This is the classic burger joint. Have a hamburger and a hot fudge sundae at the oldest surviving Bob's Big Boy.

Ok, well you have to do this once if you like hamburgers. If you're a West Coaster, you've probably had a Bob's Big Boy before, but this is the original! It's classic diner situation with spinning stools and tired waitresses. The food is greasy and fattening and good. Plenty of parking.
